Acoufelt is thrilled to announce that Stockholm-based human factors and workplace expert Ms. Kati Barklund has joined its advisory board. Ms. Barklund recently moved from the Modern Workplace area at Microsoft to Sweden-based property and workplace advisory company Tenant & Partners, where she focuses on Business Development and Strategic Workplace Advisory. She also holds a number of strategic advisory roles within both physical and digital workplace areas.
Ms. Barklund has a long and unique workplace background after working in the absolute forefront of both physical and digital workplace areas. Kati is also part of Strategic Advisory Group of the international workplace strategy community Workplace Evolutionaries (WE), where she is the Lead for the WE Hubs and expansion worldwide.
“I really look forward to joining the Acoufelt Advisory Board, and together with the advisory board and the rest of the Acoufelt team, focus on how we can develop and enhance employees’ acoustic experience in the workplace. Acoustics really makes a difference in the workplace – for the people, for their well-being and their performance!” said Ms. Barklund.
At the heart of the Acoufelt approach is the Acoustic FWC™ philosophy – looking at every surface of a space – floor, walls and ceiling – as a potential means of absorbing unwanted noise. Acoufelt is committed to this approach to solving customer acoustic problems – Making Quiet™ for a real impact. This holistic approach is applied to working, learning and living spaces. Today, there exists much overlap across these spaces.
Before joining Tenant & Partner as Sr. Workplace Strategy Manager, Kati has worked as Sr. Modern Workplace Solutions Specialist, Group Innovation Manager, Acting and Deputy Head of Group Service Development, Strategic Change Manager, Site Manager and Department Manager at companies like Microsoft, Coor, Skanska and Pharmacia.
